You are not alone, help is available
LA519 connects individuals, families, schools and communities with life-saving resources, training and support.
At LA519, we believe that everyone deserves access to support when they need it most. Whether you’re struggling with your mental health, worried about someone you care about, or looking for guidance during a difficult time, there are services and organisations ready to help.
This page brings together trusted support services, helplines, counselling resources, and crisis contacts available across Ireland. Seeking help is a sign of strength, and taking that first step can make a real difference.
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or at risk of harm, please contact emergency services or a crisis support line without delay.
Support is available. Hope is real. You do not have to face things alone
The IACP dedicates itself to promoting and advancing the profession of Counselling and Psychotherapy. We will continue to achieve this through the promotion and provision of high-quality education, training and professional development, by raising awareness of the value and benefits of Counselling and Psychotherapy and by supporting members to work to the highest possible standards, for the service and the protection of individuals seeking therapy.
Finding the right support shouldn’t depend on where you live. That’s why we’ve brought together a directory of mental health, wellbeing, counselling, and crisis support services available across counties throughout Ireland.
Whether you’re looking for local counselling, youth services, family support, addiction services, community organisations, or emergency assistance, our county-by-county guide is designed to help you quickly connect with the support available in your area.
No matter where you are, help is closer than you think.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, you can call the emergency services on 112 or 999 to get help. You can also go to the nearest A&E. Above is a list of other crisis support resources which you can contact. Some of which are available 24/7 by text or phone and others have local branches that you can visit in person.
If you feel overwhelmed by not knowing which one to choose, just pick any one and they will point you in the right direction. Don’t be afraid to reach out!
Every action, no matter how small, can make a life-changing difference.
